OTTO BRENTZEL has reliably been supplying concrete road contractors in Germany and abroad for more than five decades.
We have specialized in the production of dowels and tiebars which are required for position fixing and for transferring forces in concrete pavements. In addition, we offer other products required in this context.

Our products undergo internal and external quality controls. We also maintain close collaboration with steel manufacturers and suppliers to consistently ensure the required standards are met.
In 2020, we implemented a fully automated process for handling plastic-coated dowels using a robot. This innovation has significantly reduced the workload for our employees.
The robot efficiently places the dowels into the production cycle, counts them, and transfers them to the belt storage tanks for packaging. Once packaged, the dowels are bound and then placed on pallets using a crane.

2007 / 2008The largest individual orders in the company's history involved the construction of approximately 400 km of concrete pavement in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
Over a two-year period, a total of 2.4 million "Brentzel dowels" were delivered to support these major projects.
2020The first robot will be successfully integrated into the dowel production.
2021Dirk Brentzel becomes owner (3. Generation).
Heinz Brentzel is retiring after more than 50 years in the steel industry.
2022Installation of the last part of the PV system. A total of 355 kWp of power was installed on the hall roofs.
